I-40 LANES IN WEST MEMPHIS TO CLOSE SUNDAY MORNING


LITTLE ROCK (2-2)  Workers for the Tenn essee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will erect an overhead digital message sign over the eastbound lanes of I-40 just west of the Ingram Blvd . Overpass beginning at 6:00 am on Sunday, February 6th, according to officials with the Ark ansas St ate Highway and Transportation Department.

     Weather permitting, eastbound traffic at mile marker 279 will be stopped for up to 30 minutes. If work is not completed, workers will open the lanes for 30 minutes before closing them again for up to another 30 minutes.

     Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes while work takes place.
