WORK SCHEDULED FOR BEAVER BRIDGE ON HIGHWAY 187

LITTLE ROCK (02-09)   

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will be making structural repairs on the Highway 187 bridge at Beaver (north of Eureka Springs) beginning next week, according to AHTD officials.

Weather permitting, the bridge will close between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. February 15, 16 and 17. Accommodations will be made for school buses during this time.

All other motorists are urged to make alternate travel plans through the area.
