PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED FOR BONANZA


     LITTLE ROCK (03-22)  The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Bonanza, just south of Fort Smith, to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 45, according to AHTD officials.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, March 31, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bonanza City Hall, 200 Sherwood Avenue, in Bonanza.  

     Plans call for constructing a 1.2-mile section of Highway 45 on new location in the area of Backbone Mountain, between Bonanza and Sebastian Lake.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
