PAVING WORK ON INTERCHANGE AT I-430 AND HIGHWAY 100

LITTLE ROCK (3-23)  In addition to the current milling work that is taking place on the ramps (see NR05-035), crews working on improvements to the Interstate 430 and Highway 100 interchange in Maumelle will require intermittent ramp closures for repaving.  Weather permitting, the work will begin Friday, March 25 and will last until Friday, April 1 each day from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.

Crews will periodically shut down the entrance and exit ramps on Interstate 430 at Highway 100 to repave the ramps that were prepared for surfacing earlier this week.  Message boards along the roadway will have current information about which, if any, ramps are closed.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through work zones.
