AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN JUNCTION CITY

LITTLE ROCK (4-6)     

           The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Junction City to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 167, according to AHTD officials.

            The informal session will be held Thursday, April 14, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Junction City Community Center , 220 Main Street , in Junction City .

Plans call for widening a 1.5-mile section of Highway 167 to five lanes, extending from the Louisiana state line northward through Junction City .

The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
