The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Location and Design Public Hearing in Grady to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 65, according to AHTD officials.

            The informal session will be held Thursday, May 12, 2005, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Grady Elementary School Cafeteria, Highway 65 South, in Grady.

Plans call for constructing a 3.6-mile section of Highway 65 on new location east of the community of Grady.  The new section will be a four-lane, divided roadway and will be an extension of the four-lane, divided section of Highway 65 extending southward out of Pine Bluff .

The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
