LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR INTERSTATE 55 MISSISSIPPI RIVER BRIDGE

LITTLE ROCK (5-19)     

           Crews working on the Interstate 55 Mississippi River Bridge in West Memphis will require lane closures on May 23 and 24 for a routine bridge inspection, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials. Weather permitting, the work will begin at 9:00 a.m. each day and be complete around 3:00 p.m.

            The eastbound outside lane will be closed.

As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
