Crews making improvements to Highway 340, east of Bella Vista, will require lane closures on Thursday, July 28^th and again on Monday, August 1^st and Tuesday, August 2^nd, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.

     Crews will be sealing Highway 340 beginning at Highway 71 in Bella Vista and extending eastward to Highway 94.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day and continuing to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.  Flaggers will be in place to direct motorists through the area.

     Motorists are urged to consider alternate routes and, as always, exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
