AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING IN NASHVILLE

LITTLE ROCK (8-11)     

           The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Nashville to discuss plans for  improvements to Highway 371, according to AHTD officials.

            The informal session will be held Thursday, August 25, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ridgeway Baptist Church , Peachtree and Hearn Streets, in Nashville . 

 Plans call for resurfacing and minor widening on 1.1 miles of Highway 371, extending from Highway 27, in Nashville , eastward to past the Hempstead County lin e. 

The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
