LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR HIGHWAY 36 IN FAULKNER COUNTY

LITTLE ROCK (10-27)

Crews working on a bridge over Muddy Creek on Highway 36 in Faulkner County will require an alternating lane closure October 31 through November 4, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.

Crews have been working on the bridge this week and will require an additional week to complete the job.  Weather permitting, the work will begin next week at 8:00 a.m. each day and be completed around 4:30 p.m.  One lane of the bridge will be open at all times.

As always, motorists are urged to consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
