Contractors working on the rehabilitation of Interstate 40 in North Little Rock will require a 3-hour closure of the EASTBOUND I-40 on-ramp at the Levy Interchange, according to AHTD officials.  Beginning on Monday, November 7^th at approximately 9:00 a.m., the EASTBOUND on-ramp to I-40, which is entered from Percy Machin Drive, will be closed until around 12:00 noon while construction crews construct a concrete barrier wall adjacent to the ramp lane.

Motorists are encouraged to plan an alternate route to access I-40 since no detour routes will be signed during this ramp closure.  Motorists who wish to access I-40 East or I-30 West should take Main Street to 15^th Street in North Little Rock, or use the Burns Park Interchange to access the Interstates.  For further details, the AHTD Public Affairs Office is available via phone at 501-569-2227 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., to assist motorists with information.
