AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING IN BENTONVILLE

LITTLE ROCK (11-8)     

            The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Bentonville to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 102, according to AHTD officials.

            The meeting will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Word of Life Fellowship Church, 808 S.W. 14th Street , in Bentonville.

            Plans call for widening Highway 102 to five lanes extending from Highway 71B westward to Greenhouse Road .  

The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
