AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING IN PARAGOULD

LITTLE ROCK (11-23)     

           The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Paragould to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 49, according to AHTD officials.

            The meeting will be held Thursday, December 8, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Paragould High School , 631 W. Court Street, in Paragould.

            Plans call for widening Highway 49, in Paragould , to five lanes extending from Highway 412 northward to Highway 135.   

The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
