NEWS EVENT NOTIFICATION

    LITTLE ROCK (5-14) 

WHAT:                       The 177h annual Equipment Operators’ ROADEO competition.

 

 

WHO:                         Winners from each of the ten districts compete in six categories for overall state titles. Also attending will be Arkansas Highway Director Dan Flowers and members of the Arkansas Highway Commission.

 

 

WHEN:                       Thursday, May 24  from around 8 am until around 11:30 am, followed by lunch and the announcement of winners.

                       

 

WHERE:                    The event takes place at the AHTD Equipment and Procurement Facility located at 11301 W. Baseline. From the AHTD Central Headquarters, travel west on Baseline about a mile. The facility is clearly marked on the right.

 

 

WHY:                          This is an annual event for employees to showcase their equipment operating skills in a statewide competition. Winners will advance to represent Arkansas in Regional competition later this summer.
