AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING IN SEARCY

    LITTLE ROCK (5-24) 

     The Ark ansas St ate Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement meeting in Searcy to discuss plans for an extension of Highway 13, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held Thursday, June 7, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Valley Baptist Church , 3328 Highway 36, in Searcy.

      Plans call for constructing an extension of Highway 13, southwest of Searcy, on new location that would extend from Highway 267 northward to Highway 36. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.  For more information, contact the AHTD Environmental Division at 501-569-2281.
