WORK ON INTERSTATE 40 IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK TO REQUIRE LANE CLOSURES

LITTLE ROCK (6-18) Crews working on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock will require intermittent lane closures this weekend, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Weather permitting, the crews will require the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 in North Little Rock to be closed for 15-minute intervals to hang overhead signs.  The closure will be at mile marker 153, near the JFK exit, between 7:00 a.m. and noon on Sunday, June 24.

As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
