AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING IN HOPE

    LITTLE ROCK (6-20) The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement meeting in Hope to discuss plans for improvements to Greenwood Street, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Northside Park Community Center, 1709 N. Spruce Street, in Hope.

      Plans call for reconstruction of Greenwood Street extending from Bell Street eastward to Lin- coln Street with a sidewalk on the north side of the street.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.  For more information, contact the AHTD Environmental Division at 501-569-2281.
