ATHD TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING IN CARLISLE

    

     LITTLE ROCK (7-10) – The Ark ansas St ate Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Design Public Hearing in Carlisle to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 13, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carlisle Elementary School , 707 East 5th Street , in Carlisle .

      Plans call for improving 1.4 miles of Highway 13, extending from Highway 70 in Carlisle northward to Interstate 40.  A portion of the work will be on new location.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.  For more information, contact the AHTD Environmental Division at 501-569-2281.
