LITTLE ROCK (7-20) 

     Improvements to Highway 192 in Hot Springs ( Marion Anderson Road ) next week will require lane closures, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Crews doing chip sealing in the area will require lane closures in both directions beginning  on Monday, May 23rd and ending on Thursday, May 26th, weather permitting.  The work on Marion Anderson Road will begin at the intersection with Highway 70 and extend for six miles.  Work will begin each day at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 4:30 p.m. 

     Escort vehicles will be utilized to move traffic through the work zone.  As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through the highway work zone.
