LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED ON INTERSTATE 30 IN LITTLE ROCK

LITTLE ROCK (8-3)

Crews repairing damages to the bridge deck of the Interstate 30 Bridge over University Avenue (Highway 70) in Little Rock from a recent truck accident and fire will require lane closures on Sunday, August 5th, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Improvements to the bridge deck will require the westbound center and outside lanes to be closed between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Crews will be placing epoxy on the pavement surface that was damaged by the truck accident.  The guardrail, crash attenuator and bridge rail have already been repaired.

As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
