LITTLE ROCK (8-27) 

           Crews working on the Highway 67/167 project in Sherwood will require two lane closures on Thursday evening, August 30, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

            Weather permitting, southbound traffic will be restricted to one lane from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. as crews open the new Brookswood on ramp and re-open the southbound Wildwood Exit. If the project is not completed by 6:00 a.m Friday, crews will close the lane again overnight Friday beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Also Thursday night, crews will require intermittent, 15-minute lane closures on Warden Road in order to hang structural steel for construction of the new Kiehl Overpass.

As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
