AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING IN SILOAM SPRINGS

    LITTLE ROCK (10-18)      

     The Ark ansas St ate Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Design Public Hearing in Siloam Springs to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 412, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Southside West Elementary School , 200 W. Tulsa Street , in Siloam Springs.

     Plans call for widening 1.6 miles of Highway 412 to six lanes extending from the Oklahoma State Line eastward to Washington Street in Siloam Springs.     

      The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.  For more information, contact the Arkansas State Highway & Transportation Department’s Environmental Division at 501-569-2281.
