LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR INTERSTATE 40 NEAR CLARKSVILLE


    LITTLE ROCK (10-25) 

     Crews making improvements on Interstate 40 near Clarksville will require a lane closure next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Crews replacing asphalt will require a lane closure beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29th, and ending by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 30th, weather permitting.  The lane closure will be located in the eastbound, outside lane, in the area of Mile Marker 53. 

     As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
