AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING IN CONWAY

    LITTLE ROCK (12-1)

     The Ark ansas St ate Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Conway to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 65B (Harkrider Drive), according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of Conway High School (West Campus), 2300 Prince Street , in Conway .

     The proposed project will widen 1.3 miles of Harkrider Drive to five lanes between Highway 266 and Bruce Street . 

      The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.  For more information, contact the Arkansas State Highway & Transportation Department’s Environmental Division at 501-569-2281.
