LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR INTERSTATE 40 IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK


LITTLE ROCK (01-03)    

     Crews working on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock will require a lane closure January 4th, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Weather permitting, the outside lane on Interstate 40 Eastbound from mile marker 151 to 153, near Exit 152 (JFK Exit), will be closed beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4 until approximately 3:00 p.m.  The AHTD will also be routing traffic onto a temporary exit ramp for Highway 107 ( JFK Boulevard ).  This work will allow barrie r walls to be relocated and new pavement markings to be installed.

     As always, motorists are urged to consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
