AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING IN PRESCOTT


LITTLE ROCK (2-23)     

          The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement meeting in Prescott to discuss proposed plans for a new railroad overpass in Prescott , according to AHTD officials.

            The meeting will be held Thursday, March 9, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Callom & Carney Community Meeting Room, 1440 West 1st Street (Highway 67 North), in Prescott .

            Plans call for constructing a railroad overpass on new location near the fair grounds to connect Highway 371 and Highway 67. 

            The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
