WORK SCHEDULED FOR INTERSTATE 30 LITTLE ROCK (3-6) A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will be performing work in the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 in Saline County, according to AHTD officials. The work will take place on the inside and center lanes of Interstate 30 westbound beginning near the Bryant exit-ramp and extending to near Alcoa Road. Work will begin at 6:00 a.m. each day beginning March 4th. The work is expected to take approximately three weeks, weather permitting. The center lane will be opened by 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, but may close again at 7:00 p.m. for overnight work if conditions are appropriate. Work may begin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays and may also take place throughout the day on Sundays. The inside lane will remain closed for the duration of the work. The outside lane will remain open the entire time. As always, motorists are urged to consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
