AHTD TO HOLD NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING IN PINE BLUFF

    LITTLE ROCK (3-9)  The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a neighborhood meeting in the Pinebergen area of Pine Bluff to discuss proposed plans for a new highway, according to AHTD officials.

    The meeting will be held Saturday, March 25, 2006, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Highway 15 South Fire Department, 10672 Highway 63 South, in Pine Bluff.

    Plans call for the construction of a highway on new location to serve as a Highway 63/Interstate 530 connector and extend from Highway 63 at Pinebergen northward to Interstate 530. 

    The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
