OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED IN LITTLE ROCK

    LITTLE ROCK (4-7)  The Heavy Bridge Maintenance crew for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will require overnight lane closures on University Avenue to make repairs to an overpass , according to AHTD officials.

     Weather permitting, one northbound lane of University Avenue will be closed to perform maintenance to the underside of the Interstate 630 overpass.  Lane closures are scheduled for five nights beginning Sunday evening, April 9 and concluding Thursday morning, April 13. The work will begin each evening at 8:00 p.m. and will last until 5:30 a.m. the next morning.     

     As always, motorists are urged to consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
