AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING IN CARLISLE

    LITTLE ROCK (4-14) The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Carlisle to discuss plans for proposed improvements to Highway 13, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Carlisle Elementary School Cafeteria, 707 East 5th Street, in Carlisle.

     Plans call for improving 1.3 miles of Highway 13, possibly on new location, extending from Highway 70 in Carlisle northward to Interstate 40.   

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
