Overnight Ramp Closure Scheduled

LITTLE ROCK (4-11) The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will require an overnight ramp closure on the U.S. Highway 67 Southbound entrance ramp at Kiehl Avenue in Sherwood, according to AHTD officials.

Weather permitting, the entrance ramp to Highway 67 at Kiehl Avenue will be closed in order to mill the existing shoulder, which is being used as a driving lane, and replace it with a new layer of asphalt.  The lane closure is scheduled for Thursday evening, April 13 and will reopen Friday morning, April 14. The work will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will last until 6:00 a.m.

Motorists wishing to enter Highway 67 Southbound in this area can continue on the frontage road for less than a mile and use the Brookwood entrance ramp.

As always, motorists are urged to consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
