Sherwood Lane Closure Scheduled

    LITTLE ROCK (4-21) Contractors working for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will require an overnight lane closure on northbound Highway 67/167 in Sherwood beginning Wednesday, April 26 at 7:00 pm, according to AHTD officials.

     Workers will be placing concrete barriers to shift traffic in the area. Three northbound ramps will be temporarily affected – the Wildwood on ramp, the Kiehl off ramp and the Kiehl on ramp. Workers will close one ramp at a time and reopen it before moving to the next ramp. Message boards will be in place in the area to inform motorists of the ramp closures. All work, weather permitting, will be completed and all lanes will be open by Noon on Thursday, April 27.

     Motorists are urged to consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
