AHTD To Hold Public Involvement Session in Sherwood

    LITTLE ROCK (5-11)  The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Sherwood to discuss plans for proposed improvements to Highway 107, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Christian Assembly of God Church, 10601 Highway 107, in Sherwood.

     Plans call for widening Highway 107 in Sherwood to four lanes with a center turn lane, extending from Bear Paw Drive northeastward to Brockington Road. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
