Lane Closure for Highway 67/167

LITTLE ROCK (6-7) Crews working on Highway 67/167 south of McCain Blvd. in North Little Rock will require a lane closure this week in order to reroute northbound traffic onto temporary lanes, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Weather permitting, northbound traffic on Highway 67/167 will be shifted onto new temporary lanes in the area between Interstate 40 and McCain Boulevard.    The shift in lanes will require one existing northbound lane to be temporarily closed.  Traffic will be shifted on Thursday, June 8th beginning around 7:00 p.m.  The shift will be completed and two northbound lanes will be open by 12:00 noon on June 9th.  The work is part of a project that will widen Highway 67/167 to six lanes in the area.

As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
