LITTLE ROCK (6-7) Officers from the Arkansas Highway Police Division of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) have uncovered another significant shipment of illegal drugs, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     On Monday, June 5, 2006, officers discovered several packages of cocaine after stopping a motorist for a traffic violation along Interstate 55 in Crittenden County.  During a search of the vehicle, police discovered approximately 13 pounds of  cocaine with an estimated street value of $1.5 million.

     The driver was identified as T. Herbert Felton, age 47, of Huffman, Texas.  It is believed the driver was traveling from Texas to Michigan.  Felton and a passenger, Christopher Felton, age 21, of Huffman, Texas, were arrested at the scene for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.  Both were scheduled for arraignment in district court in West Memphis on Wednesday, June 7, 2006.
