Public Meeting to be held in Prairie Grove

    LITTLE ROCK (7-24) The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Location Public Hearing in Prairie Grove to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 62, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held Thursday, August 3rd, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Prairie Grove High School, 500 Cole Drive, in Prairie Grove.

     Plans call for improving Highway 62 either on the existing location through Prairie Grove, or on one of four southern bypass alignment alternatives. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
