Lane Closure on Highway 72 Between Bentonville and Pea Ridge

    LITTLE ROCK (8-10) Crews working on improvements to Highway 72 between Bentonville and Pea Ridge will require a lane closure next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Crews resurfacing Highway 72 will require short lane closures beginning Monday, August 14th.  Weather permitting, short sections of the 6.6 miles of Highway 72 from Bentonville to Pea Ridge will be one lane only in order to resurface the roadway.  The work will begin each day, from Monday through Thursday, at 8:00 am and should be complete each day by 5:00 pm.  A flagger will be in place to direct traffic through the area.

     Motorists are urged to consider an alternate route, if possible, and reduce their speed when approaching or traveling through highway work zones.
