LITTLE ROCK (8-17) Crews will be performing a routine inspection on the Interstate 430 Arkansas River Bridge in Little Rock next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     The inspection will require the southbound outside lane to be closed from Monday, August 21 until midday Wednesday, August 23.  Once the southbound inspection is complete, the northbound outside lane will be closed for the remainder of Wednesday, Augsut 23 and Thursday, August 24.  Weather permitting, these lane closures will last each day from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

     As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
