LITTLE ROCK (8-23) INSPECTION CANCELLED

     Crews will be performing a routine inspection on the Interstate 30 Arkansas River Bridge near downtown Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Weather permitting, the inspection will require the eastbound outside lane of Interstate 30 to be closed beginning at 6 am on Sunday, August 27.  The eastbound inspection should be complete by mid-morning.  As the eastbound lane is opened to traffic, the westbound outside lane will be closed until mid-afternoon. 

     As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
