AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING IN PARAGOULD

    LITTLE ROCK (9-14) 

     A consultant for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement meeting in Paragould to discuss an Environmental Study being performed for proposed improvements to Highway 412 in the Paragould area, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held Thursday, September 21st, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of Paragould High School, 1701 W. Court Street in Paragould.

     Three corridor alternatives will be presented for consideration at the meeting: a northern bypass corridor, a southern bypass corridor and improvements along existing Highway 412 through town.  The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to ask questions, offer comments and view displays of the corridor alternatives.
