LITTLE ROCK (1-7)

     Crews will be performing a routine inspection this week on the Broadway Bridge over the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock , according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Weather permitting, the inspection will require lane closures each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning with the closure of the southbound outside lane on Wednesday, January 9^th and Thursday, January 10^th. Once the southbound work is complete, the inspection will require a northbound outside lane closure on Thursday, January 10th and Friday, January 11^th.

     As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
