LANE CLOSURE CONTINUES ON INTERSTATE 540 BRIDGE

    LITTLE ROCK (1-11)

     Crews performing routine maintenance this week on the Interstate 540 Bridge over the Arkansas River between Fort Smith and Van Buren will require a lane closure again next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Weather permitting, the work will require one lane to be closed beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. each day next week, Monday, January 14th through Friday, January 18th. 

     As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones
