LITTLE ROCK (4-1)

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Texarkana to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 82, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 10^th, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Highland Hills Baptist Church , 4106 East 9^th Street , in Texarkana .

     Proposed plans call for widening Highway 82 to five lanes extending from Highway 245 eastward to Highway 237.
