AHTD to Hold Meeting in El Dorado

January 31, 1997 -- The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) has scheduled a public information meeting to discuss proposed improvements to Arkansas Highway 15 in El Dorado.

The meeting will be held Thursday, February 13, 1997, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the South Arkansas Community College, East Campus, 3696 E. Main Road in El Dorado.

Project improvements include widening Highway 15 to five lanes from U.S. Highway 167 to Industrial Road and to four lanes from Industrial Road to State Highway 129 at Old Union.

The public is invited to come by anytime during the meeting hours to view exhibits, ask questions and offer comments. Conceptual plans will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
