Bridge Maintenances on White River Bridge in Newport

February 4, 1997 -- Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will be conducting routine maintenance on the Highway 367 White River Bridge in Newport beginning next week.

The bridge deck is scheduled to be repaired beginning Monday, February 10 and continuing each weekday through Friday, February 28, weather permitting. To accommodate the equipment, one lane of traffic will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. Both lanes will be open and normal traffic flow will resume at the end of each workday.

No over-width vehicles will be allowed across the bridge during the lane closure periods.
