Public Involvement Meeting in El Dorado

March 25, 1997 -- The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) has scheduled a public information meeting to discuss proposed improvements to the U.S. Highway 167 Bypass in El Dorado.

The meeting will be held Thursday, March 13, 1997, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the South Arkansas Community College, East Campus, 3696 E. Main Road in El Dorado.

Project improvements include upgrading the existing interchanges and adding an additional two lanes to the existing roadway between Highway 82 and Highway 7 Spur.

The public is invited to come by anytime during the meeting hours to view exhibits, ask questions and offer comments. Conceptual plans will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
