AHTD to Hold Meeting in Grady


April 7, 1997 -- The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss proposed improvement of U.S. Highway 65 in the vicinity of Grady, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

Alternatives being considered include widening the existing highway or constructing a bypass around the city. The session will be held Saturday, April 12, 1997, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Grady Elementary School, 804 U.S. Highway 65. Conceptual plans and an aerial photo of the project will be available for viewing and comments.

The public is invited to visit any time during the hours to view plans and offer comments. Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
