Intersection of Highways 376 and 387 in Camden Converted to 4-Way Stop

July 24, 1997 -- The intersection of Highway 376 (Fairview Road) and Highway 387 (Cash Road) in Camden will be converted to a four-way stop beginning on Monday, July 28, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The intersection is being converted after studies revealed a need for modification. Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will add stop signs to Highway 376. Traffic flow at the present forces only motorists traveling Highway 387 to stop at its intersection with Highway 376. The change is scheduled to take place on Monday afternoon, July 28.

Permanent signs will be placed on Highway 376, as well as warning signs with flags, notifying motorists of the approaching stop signs.
