AHTD to Hold Public Meeting on Proposed Prairie Grove Bypass

October 3, 1997 -- The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a public meeting at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 1997 according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The meeting will be held in the Prairie Grove Upper Elementary School auditorium, 801 Viney Grove Road. The purpose of the meeting will be to present updated information on the proposed Highway 62 bypass of Prairie Grove and to give citizens the opportunity to comment on this project. All interested citizens and community organizations are encouraged to attend the meeting. Personnel will be on hand to answer questions and take written comments about the project.

Anyone wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits in place of, or in addition to, written statements made at the public meeting may submit them to the Planning and Research Division, Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, P.O. Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.
