NLR Railroad Crossing Will Be Closed for Repairs


May 15, 1998-- A portion of Highway 165 in North Little Rock will be closed to through traffic on Saturday, May 16.

Crews from Union Pacific Railroad will be replacing the existing rail crossing on Highway 165 located just south of East Broadway (Highway 70). The closure will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the road is expected to reopen by 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

It is suggested that through traffic use I-440 and Highway 70 as an alternate route.
